About Rivet
Company
We’re technology and operational experts delivering superior technologies for the people who do the hardest jobs in the hardest places. Our sole focus: get better tools to the front lines, right now.
Because useful tech isn't reaching people that do today's critical defense and industrial work. Whether they’re operating energy infrastructure, maintaining ships, building aircraft, or defending sovereign territory, frontline personnel need tools built for digital and physical proficiency. But what they historically get: obsolete and bulky gear, products that don't work outside of an office, or vendors that simply don't care to get it right.
Rivet develops modular systems for people in high-stakes environments that need the most effective and trustworthy tools available.

What we do
Systems
Yes, with Rivet customers. Our systems include chipsets, sensors, materials, and software designed for integration with approved users and platforms. Configurations are matched to performance and security requirements. Hard Spec™ is our guiding principle that puts frontline workforces at the center of everything we make.
For end users, Rivet OS software has one purpose: transform our modular hardware into the exact toolset needed for the task at hand. No maze of apps and menus, no unnecessary functionality, just instant familiarity so people can get the job done. In our view, precisely equipped teams achieve precise outcomes, faster. We're building user interfaces, spatial computing, distributed messaging, AI/sensor perception stacks, and SDKs that adapt for people.
On-demand tasking is a force multiplying advantage. Rivet is also developing enterprise operations software to manage all task elements in real time, so thousands of Soldiers, technicians, or assemblers stay coordinated.
No. We don’t believe a one-size-fits-all product fits tough frontline tasks. The usual "retail box + resale channel + app store" model too often results in accountability gaps and compromises. Users shouldn't be forced to hack consumer-grade devices and software to survive in the field.
Rivet offers a modular system produced through our scalable, controlled supply chain. Our customers gain fitness for purpose, flexible configurations, and a vendor committed to high-value solutions.
No. We are vertically integrated to deliver complete, mission-ready systems.
Through sustainment agreements, we can provide user-serviceable components, but we do not sell discrete boards, software, or engineering services. We are committed to equip customers with end-to-end supportable solutions, not kits or reference designs.
Working together
Solutions
Yes. We work closely with customers to protect people, data, and operations. Together, we are responsible to deploy compliant systems and securely control the lifecycles of hardware and software. As a prime contractor for defense programs, Rivet fulfills DFARS requirements and NIST standards including program-specific DevSecOps and cybersecurity practices.
In most cases, yes. We work with your teams and vendors to transition existing software. Rivet systems support open SDKs and common platforms like Android and Linux, so your current mobile, XR, datacenter, tactical, or cloud apps can often carry forward into your next-generation Integrated Task System.
On the backend. Rivet is building task-oriented infrastructure that automates the provisioning of your software, procedures, telemetry, and security controls.
Yes, if your work depends on coordinating high-value assets, making data-driven decisions, and managing safety-critical actions with hundreds or thousands of frontline personnel. The impact of doing the work right (or wrong) on shop floors, behind bulkheads, or on patrol is extremely well understood. Better tools and technologies are long overdue for these use cases.
We structure customer agreements to include system validation phases.
We don’t loan or sell individual Rivet components outside of jointly managed deployments. If you're a customer, we’ll get you what you need to configure, evaluate, and deploy your systems at scale.
Yes, at the request of Rivet customers who have deployed independent software, hardware, or services to frontline use cases. If you're delivering complementary value to industrial or defense users, let us know.
